What matters is God's Word

It was said of Eddie Arnold that the hand shake was all you needed. His honesty was solid. We have performance bonds to assure a person will do his job well. The integrity of my word is rooted in the integrity of God's word. The stability of what is happening in the human affair now depends upon the certainty of God's word. It is all we have: in church, home, marriage, business, government. God kept his word on the cross-God kept his word in the resurrection-God is keeping his word in the work of the Holy Spirit now. What matters is God's word. "I love you-you are my child-no matter what happens this word stands." The word about our faith, our integrity, our honey, our love, our benevolence spreads, and spreads......
