Experiences
> "We know that in all things God works for good with those who love him, those whom he has called according to his purpose."(Romans 8:28) Everyone's life is chocked full of experiences. Sometimes we may think our experiences are not worth much, but that is mistaken thinking. The great thing about God's creating power is that every experience we have is in some way useful to his purposes.

> What experiences or situations in your life can God use for God's purposes???? Maybe God would have you use them to help others???

Truth
> Dishonesty, craftiness, devious.Words that speak to human relationships and transactions that have a hidden agenda not in the best interest of anyone but the deceiver. Living this way will cause a person to constantly look over his/her shoulder fearful of who is behind. This is unhealthy, destructive, wrong. Our Creator designed us to deal in truth, goodness, kindness, honesty, love, service to others and being good stewards of ourselves…….

Creation
> The days of our lives are never static. There may be a desire in us to be settled and things fixed. But from conception to death we are in a constant state of change. I choose to think that Creating Spirit is at all times creating us. Life lives in our bodies. Creator engages us to participate in our creation. It is the Call of creation in us.

Investments
> I am sitting here pondering the state of affairs in the world in general and the church/religion/people in particular. Things are not very pretty. The church/religion/people is a cracked vessel, a smudged painting, a poor witness to the unconditional love of God. Maybe this is not a good investment. Maybe we should sell our stock and invest in something that at least will produce better results. ?????? The problem I have with these thoughts is that getting rid of them would be like throwing the baby out with the water. Whatever is decent in me came from these crappy conditions. I think I will continue to leave my investments where they are and count on the Kingdom of God that is actually relevant to what is going on in the world/church/religion/politics/people………In the meantime I will do all the good I can where I am…..

> For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Energy is always working for one purpose and one purpose only. That purpose is to redeem, renew, create beauty, love, kindness, ……Trees burn. The forest is destroyed. Wait long enough and new life will begin to come forth out of the earth. Sin and evil destroys whatever it touches, but does not have the final act. Eternal Love eventually brings new life and cleansing….

> The day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday leaves a big question. It is like a blank page. It is a mystery. Some persons believe Jesus descended into hell to carry his message of salvation to the lost in that place. I don't know. What I do know is that for me this day is quiet, waiting for whatever is next. It is a space in time between death and resurrection. There are experiences in life when we are between what has been and what is to come.Sense God is Love, whatever is to be will be Good……??????

Fwd: thought
> Sometimes we find ourselves in places of life that are hard to bear and we want to get it done and behind us. Problem is, the condition may be a matter of nature. Like when we are waiting for birth to happen and we don't know the moment and timing of creation as we wait for birth to happen. In a way this is the same situation as we anticipate the ending of life here and the suffering that sometimes happens. This may be at any time along our journey. I think what I am wanting to say is that everything has its time and our impatience with getting it over is distracting and misleading. In God's timing we wait, and in the meantime paying attention to the moment and what we can do now. We are called to live in the moment, in the now, in the experience now, confident that Holy Spirit knows the big picture and is present with us working with us. We may be dealing with issues of work or issues of health, etc. and the most important thing is to trust the One who knows the Plan and no matter the moment or the out come we abide in the Love of God and the Love of God abides in us……….anyway, maybe this makes some sense….

> "May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears." (Nelson Mandela) These are not words from a person who had it easy. He spent many years in prison in South Africa. He was a man of hope and vision. Upon release from prison he eventually became President of South Africa. His life and words called for ending apartheid in his country. Life in this world requires hope. Evil has to be overcome in every generation, in every life. Hope keeps our minds and hearts alive and focused what is true and right whereas fear shuts us down and clogs our minds and discourages our heart in clouds of despair and defeat. Make choices that reflect your hope.
