Papa is Down

If you have been wondering why the posts have stopped lately it's because Papa has been in the hospital for the late 12 days or so.  He had some cancer surgery and has then had some complications from it.  But, thanks to all your prayers and God's Grace, he is getting better now and we hope he will be back home soon and back to his frequent expressions of life, love and faith.

God in the Heart

"…being closer to God is always more about the heart than the head" (Guideposts) - the heart has a higher level of intelligence than  the head. the heart is the very soul of our being where we are in touch with Holy. out of the heart comes healing that brings wellness setting the head straight and on the right path of attitude, thought,  behavior. ………"Create in me a clean heart oh God and put a new and right spirit in me." (Psalm 51:10)

Your Own Truth

(Joshua 2:11) - The writer of these words is speaking in the context of suffering and murder of thousands of Jews in Germany. His words are grounded in the words of Joshua long ago as he spoke to the Jews of his day. Today in many places of the world people are suffering due to evil in the hearts and minds of persons who have power over them. — Whether we are part of a group or individual facing trouble it is well to pause with the words of Joshua, "God in heaven above and on earth beneath…" is so in the moment and throughout all history.

My Grace is Enough

WELL, I AM AT A PLACE IN LIFE WHERE IT SEEMS CLEAR THAT INSTEAD OF TRYING TO BE PERFECT I WILL FOCUS ON BEING FAITHFUL TO THE GIVER OF LIFE AND ALL THOSE PLACED IN MY LIFE AS FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS NEAR AND FAR. I HAVE KNOWN IN MY HEAD BUT COMING TO TERMS WITH IT IN MY HEART IS A LIFE TIME OF GROWTH.

"My grace is enough for you: for power is at full stretch in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12: 9) - The writer goes on to say that he is most content in his weakness because it is then he realizes his complete dependence up God. He is not powerful as a result of his strength and high level of self-discipline. In actual fact he is able in the moment of weakness with incredible strength that is realized by being in sync with Life Spirit.
