Give Thanks in All Circumstances

>Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you inChrist Jesus. (I Thessalonians 5:16-18) — "Being thankful in all circumstances does not mean you have to like it." — I agree. Life is full of questions and experiences beyond my comprehension and some of them are just plain bad….but I can deal with them trusting God's Good Will to be done in the end and I/you will come out ok….it is Thanksgiving time. We are so blessed……

Eternal Love

"WHO IS LIKE YOU, O LORD? YOU RESCUE THE POOR FROM THOSE TOO STRONG FOR THEM, THE POOR AND NEEDY FROM THOSE WHO ROB THEM." (Psalms 35:10) - How about those who die in their poverty? This got my attention. Do I think beyond physical death-that God delivers them? — Do I view life in terms of eternity and this human/earthly moment a blink of God's eye? —Perhaps driven to the depths of despair he/she cries out "help" and in that moment awareness of embrace, like a cool breeze flows over mind, body and soul. - In verse 28 he says, "MY TONGUE WILL SPEAK OF YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND OF YOUR PRAISES ALL DAY LONG." - We experience the pain of the moment as though it was the total of life. Creating Presence sees down the road and knows where he is going and His end vision is Good. Therefore I suffer pain in the moment and trust the One present now and to the end.    —  For those who are vulnerable and wrongly treated let there be hope….AND MAYBE ANOTHER WAY OF SEEING THIS IS THAT JOY AND SORROW, SUCCESS AND FAILURE, GOOD AND BAD ARE THE FLIP SIDE OF OUR HUMAN EXPERIENCE BUT AT THE CORE IS ETERNAL LOVE,

not alone

>In all things, moments, with thanksgiving open your mind and heart to God. Wait and you will experience the Presence, Comfort, Encouragement that never forsakes us. Whatever is on your agenda for today, you are not alone in dealing with it. It is literally true when Jesus says in Spirit he is always with us. That is the Presence that really makes the difference in whatever is going on in you and in the world…

“…toward a vision of ourselves from God’s point of view.”  1) we are made after the likeness of God. 2) In Jesus Christ God has made himself to know us clearly. 3) It is intended that we would model ourselves after the example of Christ in our behavior and attitudes, relationships, approach to life.4) We are not alone in this for Holy Spirit is with to encourage, inspire, counsel, enable our maximum experience. Therefore, let us rise up and go forth into this day rejoicing in the beauty and vitality of life as it is gifted to us today.
