GOOD MORNING. This is the first Sunday in Advent. In the secular culture it means a lot of profit in the sales departments of stores across the land. Many people run to get their favorite bargain and some will literally fight to get there first. In the midst of all this behavior others will quietly gather in places of worship or sit quietly at home and ponder the stories that tell us of God's unfailing love for each person and all humanity. We are reminded that Holy Spirit is with us, embracing, encouraging, renewing, inspiring, forgiving, calling, confronting, calming, balancing us, and we need not fight to get ahead of one another because in Providence there is enough for everyone. In Advent we can share in delivering Eternal Love to whomsoever we meet along the way…….
