"you can do better than that…" is all she said as I stood at her desk following the class dismissal. She was my 7^th grade teacher. She did not embarrass me. She did not fuss at me. Because she cared enough to let me know that whatever had been my behavior I could do better, I am still trying to do better. "Miss Norma" was one of those persons in my life who gave me a glimpse of God's way of teaching me and calling me to a higher standard.
