One of the concepts of our religious/spiritual heritage is STEWARDSHIP. We are taught that God has placed us on this earth to use its resources for our daily living; however, we are stewards. All belongs to the Creator and sustainer of life. We are not to be wasteful, careless, greedy or abusive. We are to treat nature respectfully. The current "oil spill" does not indicate a sense of being stewards of God's creation. And the big question is, am I practicing good stewardship in what I do with nature's provision?
