"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us….full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) - Today fifteen years ago our nation was attacked by terrorists. Today we pause to remember those who died and those who went afterward to save. Many of the first responders died as they endeavored to save persons trapped in the towers. In the days that followed people from across our country went as volunteers to help in the aftermath of destruction. Our friends, Patty and Curt Strickland from Augusta, went. Our enemy meant us evil but our people responded in hope and love to help..This was a contemporary statement of the Word becoming flesh. acting to meet the needs of others, full of grace and truth.
