>The world in which Micah lived many ages ago was going from bad to worse. People were abusive of one another, the powerful took advantage of the powerless, violence everywhere. It seemed to Micah that the old and proven values were no longer considered relevant and people did what suited their desire without consideration of right and wrong.

> But in the midst of this environment Micah says, "But me, I'm not giving up. I'm sticking around to see what God will do. I'm waiting for God to make things right. I'm counting on God to listen to me." (Micah 7:8)

>Let us always remember ultimate accountability is to the presence and word of God within us. No true peace until we are at peace with Holy Spirit within us."Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
