I have looked and listened as Pope Francis lives the moments of his journey in Washington, New York and Philadelphia. Certain words come to mind: being in the moment, comfortable in his own skin, slow, available, touching, grounded in Christ, living his values, intimate, universal, open, spiritual Body of Christ, not authoritative but simply calling us to the heart of Christ……it comes to my mind that our job is not to fix the world but to live our witness and trust the Presence to be manifest in our presence……..do you have thoughts to share??

ReplyDeleteThis brings to mind the servant leadership concept. I think that is what he is demonstrating and what Christ demonstrated. Just doing that in work sets an example and points to what you believe without using a single word.
