True Nobility

AN OLD HINDU PROVERB SAYS, "There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man. The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self." -- "So we're not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace." ( 2 Corinthians 4: 16) -- there simply is no way for us to get to a place where everything is as we want or prefer it. At best we suck up a lot of stuff for the sake of the larger good as it is made known to us in the daily of life. We live in the context of God will in our present circumstance and the circumstance of the world now. But always in the confidence that God' ultimate will is going to get done.
