(1 Corinthians 12: 12, 26) -- this speaks to God's intention for us in this world, and God offers this to us in Christ. All around us is pain and suffering. In Christ we are moved with compassion and reach out in words and deeds of love and care. We stand with one another in doing what we can for those in suffering. And just being there with the ones we are caring for is a powerful presence. No matter how bad things may be we are connected in Christ and bad will not have the last word.
