John 8:11
"…NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE: GO, AND SIN NO MORE." (John 8:11)"Judgements drive a man into his faults more deeply, but acceptance releases him to gain victories over self.""Our acceptance of persons helps set them free to become new persons in Christ"These quotes came from THE UPPER ROOM devotional book Oct. 31, 1972. I saved these thoughtsbecause at that time they meant something important to me. I share them now because they still speakto our human need for embracing love just as we are and in this we find what we need to be the betterperson God intends us to be.Our political and social environment is so toxic we need some anchor truth to keep our balance.

Listen, Listen, Listen

>> "THE FIRST DUTY OF LOVE IS TO LISTEN." (Paul Tillich) - sometimes we cannot listen because we are trying to think of a answer before the other person is finished talking to us. Do you realize that when you are talking to God silence is the response you get? God is listening and sooner or later in the silence of your mind you will become aware of God's response.
