"ALL YOUR CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT BY THE LORD…" (Isaiah 54:13) — parents do what they can, teachers in our schools give it their best, life has its own ways of instructing us; yet all this is for naught until we awaken to the truth and our need for the Truth, Love, Forgiveness, Redemption that God has for us in the life and teachings of Christ. God must smile the moment it dawns on our awareness what is really important….from that moment we head in a new direction and life really becomes worthwhile, no matter what……

Be still Before the Lord

BEWARE OF OLD PEOPLE. THEY CAN PUT YOU IN YOUR PLACE QUCK. I SAW A FRIEND AT THE MIAL PLACE IN OUR COMMUNITY. SHE ASKED ABOUT LIZ. I TOLD HER SHE WOULD BE 83 IN TOW DAYS. HER RESPONSE WAS, "SHE IS YOUNG." HOW OLD ARE YOU I ASKED, "I AM 85". I SAID WELL, "YOU DON'T ACT LIKE IT." SHE SAID, "I HOPE NOT" I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT WHEN YOU GET INTO CONVERSATION WITH OLDER ADULTS THEY CAN BE QUICK TO "ONE UP" ON YOU. I GUESS THE LITTLE CHILD IN EACH OF US NEVER REALLY DIES. "I AM ONE UP ON YOU" WE ARE ALERT TO SAY. WELL, "ONCE A MAN, TWICE A CHILD." —— GOD LOVES US ANYWAY AND BLESSINGS AND LOVE UPON YOU TOO….
