LABOR---a gift, opportunity to exercise ability, to be self-reliant. A day to give thanks for a job and to offer a prayer for those who do not have a job. A time to hold ourselves and our government accountable to everyone having opportunity to work.

I WOKE UP THIS MORNING AND AFTER ALL MY WORRYING, I LOOKED OUT AND SAW THE LIGHT OF ANOTHER DAY. ALL THIS TOOK PLACE WHILE I WAS ASLEEP AND NOT OCCUPIED WITH WORRY AND FEAR. DESPITE ALL THE IMPERFECTIONS AND TROUBLE IN THE WORLD  ANOTHER DAY IS CREATED….”THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD  HAS CREATED, LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD  IN IT.”
